Community proposal

To build a complete Web3 community, we certainly couldn't leave out Community proposal - a key component that grants community members a say in community development. With Mochi, it is now easier than ever to submit proposals, gather votes, and do many more on your Discord server!

Access all related features of Community proposal via this command $proposal or short-hand $pp. The list includes:

  • $proposal set <#channel> <network> <token_contract> or $proposal set <#channel>: Set up a channel for all proposals.

Configure a channel to post proposals
Server admins can configure who can post a proposal (between admins, crypto owners, and NFT owners). In the case above, crypto owners can create a proposal.
When a community member succesfully voted for a proposal
Results of the proposal will be realeased when voting time runs out
  • $proposal info: View current Proposal configuration, including Channel, Token, Proposal creator, and Minimum token amount (required to vote).

  • $proposal remove: Remove the existing Proposal channel.

  • $proposal track <#channel> <DAO_link> or $proposal track #channel <dao_space>: Configure a channel for users to receive real-time notifications when proposals are opened for voting on Snapshot or Commonwealth. These are voting and governance platforms on Ethereum, designed to facilitate on-chain community discussions and voting.
